Were in southern alberta. Our ground can get fairly hard. Last fall was really wet at harvest, which left three inch hard compacted tracks ,and the drill had no problem seeding into them. But you could see the tracks all year. We seeded some wheat last into stubble that had one pass with a noble wide blade that worked good but left the field a little rough. Its a 40 foot with a 5350 tank, would like a bigger tank as i can only do about 38 acres per fill. Fogot to say we have rocky ground, but the disks just ride over them and has never caused any damage to the drill.
