nilbart - 3/5/2018 16:55 Are you looking for the electric solenoids that activate the clutch? if so note that the ones that fit the newer 2600 and above models are not the same as those for the 2300. Not sure if they can be altered to fit. Make sure all of your wires and connections are good as those old solenoids are pretty durable. Just my experience.

 

Thanks and for mentioning the ones on the classifieds. I had been looking for "clutch" or "clutches" with no luck, changed my search terms and found them. The ones I have now are not original, instead of the three bars on the outside of the housing I have 3 socket head capscrews for the plate to engage on. New to me planter getting a checkup in my shop.  Solenoids seem to work good. One clutch is very stiff and only works part of the time, the other was seized tight.Took it apart and would need to use a press to separate the parts that should spin freely.
