Arva, Ontario | I don't have a hauler recommendation, but found myself in a similar situation in 2010... Bought an air seeder with TBT tank 350 miles from home on the other side of a large city that is very difficult to get around. Here, in Ontario at least, any time you hook onto something with a semi-tractor, you are in a gray zone legally. Especially length, height, and width laws etc. Second, if you consider breaking it down, hauling it, and rebuilding, the labor and freight will scare you. Crazy conclusion, legal as heck, and reasonable cost - pull it home whole with a tractor. Plan out a route, scout it out with a pickup and a measuring tape, and carry on. If you want to abbreviate it, have the power unit hauled one way, and bring it home. |
