Subject: RE: Starfire ITC interference

Colby, Kansas
I'm currenlty fighting the same battle for one of my two-way customers, were also evaluating the use of a "no ground plane" antenna such as a Maxrad MHB5802. This is an effort to get more of the RF energy radiated out. The factory two-way NMO mounts provided on deere equipment have plenty of problems including be located on nothing but plastic and poor grounding, this leads to poor radiation of the radio energy and makes any potential interference problem even worse.

Will keep you posted of our progress and hope to hear some other experiences on this board.

Best Regards,

Lucas Haag
