Southeast Ohio | A friend of mine who builds hot rods suggested epoxy primer by Southern Polyurathanes when I repainted my JD disc last winter. Comes in black and grey , satin or gloss IIRC. I sprayed whole thing with satin black primer, then masked off what I wanted to stay black before I hit it with JD green.
He said it sticks and wears like iron. So far so good.
Just BE SURE TO WEAR A RESPIRATOR. Very volitile stuff.
