I have a 36 foot 980 with coil drag, The shanks were worn so I put all new shanks on it, the OEM 150 lb. trip force shanks from a 2100 series JD cultivator. It was expensive but all the cheap used cultivators I looked at had worn out shanks. I now use a soil finisher and didn't even hook up to the 980 last year. I'd sell it for $18,000. Only used it for a couple years after the new shanks.
