Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I haven't done this combination of equipment but it seems like it could work. Generally DJ type products use a four pin AMP connector with two, three, or four pins present.
Pin 1: Signal and Power Ground
Pin 2: Signal
Pin 3: 12V In
Pin 4: 12 V Power looped back out to signal certain devices that the gun is present.
Since the Sky-Track was meant to replace a DJ radar gun, it has the same pattern.
If your two connectors mate but the DJ end is missing Pin 3, my guess is that you would only need to add a Pin 3 and connect it to 12V. |
