Subject: RE: Do your local elevators have grain piled?

Farmland, IN
My local elevator normally has two full piles by the end of harvest. This year they ended up with one full and the other less than half from what I can tell. Everyone has been done here for a couple of weeks at least, and yet this was an above average yield year, my best year ever for a whole farm average, actually. I have two ethanol plants and this elevator all within 17 miles of my operation, so basis is pretty good around here. I got .20 over for a couple loads over my contracts. I heard one of the ethanol plants has already started railing corn in.
