Met a guy on the Internet who wanted to hunt here. I think he found me on this page. He offered his cabin on Higgins Lake, 90 mi south of Mackinaw Mi in exchange for hunting. We have become friends.
He brought his 13 year old Hunter, that is his real name for the Ohio Youth Hunt this weekend. This morning, he got this 10 pointer, his first was an 8 pointer in NE Missouri some time back.
That bugger and his never to be offspring won't be feeding on our crops our running out in front of someone's $30,000 car!
He shot him between Hunter and Faris roads just west of us.
Thanks Bradshaw Farms and Midlander for the permission for Hunter to hunt! That was number 80 at Brown's "Martinsville Mall" taken so far this bow season.
Way to go, Hunter! Maybe someday a grandson can do that!
