Southeastern, PA. 30 miles west of Phila | Listening to stuff like that makes me MAD! I never heard him mention the lower corn prices. How could anyone spend huge amounts of oney to fall apply fertilizer when the cost of inputs and future price of corn or soybeans leaves almost no room for error.
I guess I would have more pity on the supply chain if in the past 18 months everyone would have been slower to raise there prices....but that is how markets work sell as high as you can.
One other thing about having adequate supply next spring. This past winter I read about numerous coops and fertilizer retailers than were building massive new storage terminals. The stated reason was so that they could buy at a better price.
Enough said, I feel better already speaking my mind....
