Subject: RE: NH3 Temperature Limits

Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Temperature isnt a problem for getting NH3 outta the tank as long as you slow down when tank pressure is decreased!!! Just watch your rate on the montor so you know you are not under-applying. Allow for time to charge the bar before dropping it in the ground so you dont get streaking from the headlands. BUT temp is a problem for trying to get the NH3 to seal. It was 8 degrees here yesterday night which has made a the ground to chunky. Prolly going to wait till next week, temp are goin to be back in the 40's, which should be better ground conditions.
