Monroe Oregon
Certain chem's work better if they are applied in the rain or just before. We use a lot of soil active (Axiom, Diuron, Prwol H2O some examples) chems. It helps to activate and also drive the chem through the straw and into the crowns of the crop. We're just starting our rainy season and this is the time of year to do sprout control on our prennial crops like Fescue & Orchard Grass. This is a very interesting area, spraying year around witch is good for me.
