IL | I am having problems with my ez-guide 500 and ez-steer. It worked just fine last spring but now it will work perfect for a while then it will be very erratic for a while. When it works good it will only show 0 to 4” off line and my tracks are straight behind me then after several hours all of a sudden it will start making off line mover of a foot or more and looks like a drunken sailor is driving. It looks like if I have 10 satellites showing it works fine but when I have only 9 showing it steers bad. It also seems to be worse later in the day for some reason. When this happens I can still drive by the lightbar and my spacing looks correct. How many satellites are needed for good steering? Has there been any satellite problems the last few days? I am wondering if something has been changed during the latest upgrade earlier this fall. It sure is nice when it works but very frustrating when it doesn’t! | |
