Subject: RE: Trimble vs. Outback

If you are only comparing the S2 to the 500 I lean to the 500. I recently was putting NH3 on worked Corn Ground with the S2 and really missed having the screen with a coverage map. The other part that bothered me was the memory filled up in about 30 working hours in the Outback (not a good thing when it's dark and in the middle of the field). I think Outbacks newer model would be more comparable. It was on a Cat 75C. I was thinking of asking on this site if there is a way of adjusting the sensitivity when coming back online (currently if you are off one LED it shakes you something fierce). Check my post 11/10/08. Anyway for what it's worth I like the 500 better.
