I did 3 years in row on just 30 acres of rice. The yield did not drop but the input cost became higher with more urea and fungicides. I've mentioned it on this board before but there is one grower in our county that has a field that has been in rice 49 consecutive years and I'm sure next year in will go in again for number 50.
