Near-north Ontario, French River
Depends what you intend to do prior to your post harvest calibration. If you are intending to deliver all your grain to an elevator or store on farm, you will be fine. If however you are looking at selling bushels out of the field ( without a scale weight) or splitting crop shares based on monitor data you may want to rethink a post harvest calibration. We dont have an Insight, we run a pf3000Pro and it was very close out of the box, just not close enough for splitting loads/selling etc. The calibration shouldnt take much more then an hour,if you can get someone with a weigh wagon to help you out. Just takes a little time to input the accurate weights and moistures a few times to get set up. I beleive our pf3000 was within2.5% on the weights out of the box, the moisture wasnt quite as accurate if I remember right.
