Obion,TN | Run concaves 3-4 depending on moisture and cracking , rotor 350-450 again depending on moisture and damage ie.( dryer the corn the easier it is to shell so you can slow rotor and open concaves and vise versa) run fan wide open , I can get 1200 to 1250 out of mine. Set front screen 1/2 inch , middle 3/4 inch , back 3/4 inch. Set shoe 3/4 to 1 inch. DO NOT FORGET ATLEAST 8 STRAIGHT BARS and set rear vanes to slow position or you will have signifigant rotor loss. Chopper goes in slow and lower teeth. Look for whole cobs. Keep rotor full and happy shelling!!!! | |
