Subject: Re: Corrected USDA Crop Report

Winterset, Iowa
My wife says I need to vent more often so my hair stops turning grey and falling out, so here goes. When the government all of a sudden found 2 million more soybean acres on their last report, my first response was WHAT THE HE** IS GOING ON!!!!!! Don't we all certify our crop acres after planting so that the USDA knows just what we are doing? Isn't all this information put into their computers? Shouldn't they just have to punch a couple of keys to get the total? I'm 58 years old, been farming for 36 years and every year I trust these government reports less and less. Does anyone else feel this way or do I just need to find a new way of making a living. Think about this when you vote (BIGGER GOVERNMENT MY A$$)!!!
