East Troy, WI

Doing' some day dreaming today....

What is the lowest tare you've seen across a scale on a "bridgable" class 8 single to make 80000# gross?

I'm thinking a fairly long frame daycab with a small block , 40' all aluminum trailer (like a stoughton), and super singles could offer serious savings in gallons per bushel.  Say maybe a 377 or 384 daycab pete with a 11 liter and autoshift (anyone run small blocks with autoshift? i only want to go 55 mph up moderate grades).

How low can you go?
