Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska | Don't know about your milo but ours was behind in maturity so I was glad to get the last month to get it ripe. We had a frost scare the 15th of September, had it been 2 degrees colder we would not have a crop. Have some real low spots that show that.
Kind of funny to hope we don't freeze for a month and now we want it to freeze HARD. 34 degrees at 9 p.m. I think it is going to do a good job. May be able to cut by the weekend. Fields should firm up by then, too. |
