Southeast Florida | That's what we have to do in eastern Palm Beach county were the only thing separating the farm from housing developments, schools, streets and shopping malls is a rim ditch around the farm. The voters out number us greatly and will put laws and ordinances that will make it impossible to farm. There's no more land left down there so we have to deal with it and it cost a lot of money to do that. The only reason that we deal with it is because this is one of the few paces it doesn't freeze in the winter months to grow fruit and vegetable crops left in the US. You guy's up north still need our stuff during the winter to survive or get it from offshore. | |
