The lifter will be what you need to run. I think on the day that you will be able to combine anyway, you probably need to get on out there about 10 a.m. or so, about the time when the dew starts to dry naturally. loosens the dirt crust, and draws a little of the moisture down and dries that top layer of dirt better, allowing the natural evaporation to go a little faster off the vines. It will get you in the field combining a couple of hours sooner in the day.

If you have a lot of dirt clods stuck to the roots and they are "heavy", AND the vines are GREEN, the reshaker will be a good choice.
