Understand that is a recommendation for that much element, not that much material. It takes more material than that to get the proper amount of "Active Ingredient". Anymore, I would actually be tempted to go to 2# of element in soils like yours, and get it off the bottom of the test a little sooner. I would make that application each year till you test again. In the meantime, pull some tissue (plant) tests to benchmark where you really are. I'm trying to set you up for the next time you raise soybeans.
