On our 2745 I believe correct PTO speed is at 1900-1950 engine RPM (should be the same - smaller V-8 than 2775) - we usually check with a hand tach, and both 540 and 1000 fall in at that "just under" 2000 RPM range...Book is not where I am to double check...
