Macon, IL | Picked up a rock yesterday, didn't see it go it but is was a big one-too big to go under drum. Of couse slip clutch started rattling and since it was a little early in the a.m. I thought I had plugged the feederhouse-did that a couple times in 2006 but none this year. Started clearing it and saw the rock wedged tight tight tight. I tried crowbar and hammer but no dice.
Neighbor saw me and stopped to see what was up. He grabbed my feederhouse belt with 2 hands and rolled it backwards and it popped right now.
Just passing it along, never heard that trick before-maybe obvious to everyone but me but sure nice to know. Now I wonder if I could have used that on those slugs a couple years ago.
