Resale is not exceptional on any class 8 combine which is what you will need for a 40' draper. There are a lot of used CNH 8010's around and they won't cost you much more than a 2388. I did this very switch last year and it has been a good move. Most of the bugs are out of the 8010's and they are a spectacular machine. If you are doing a ton of something tough maybe a Cat would be better however. Good luck!
