Small round post or "T" type post ?? Did the tire guy put a boot in the tire, then put a tube in the tire? If it was a "T" or round post and was booted & tubed the tire will last for years. I wouldn't sweat it,, but,, if it nags at you, you could find a spare rim and a "rag" tire if you think the tire might fail when the tire store is closed and you need to keep the combine rolling.

Look at the bright side,, of all the places the fence post *could have* wound up,, a rear tire on the combine isn't toooo bad.
