yes, you still need the speed sensor connection, unless you're using a simulated radar pulse from your GPS receiver. yes, it is the separator signal that enables the bypass moisture operation. Part of the installation includes tying into the separator signal at the 70-pin bulkhead connector. Do you have the installation instructions for the bypass?
