Yes, the conditions were very good. The soil in that area tends to drain very well. So much so that the biggest problem is usually drought. That wasn't a problem this year.

The Fried family has put a number of people into the Canadian championships over the years. In fact, this particular township has a couple families that have done well in Ontario, Canada and the worlds.

It looks to me that the Sache name hasn't done too poorly for itself either!
