Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums. | The accumulators can make it hesitate between gears, but it should not make it slip. I agree with Running Red, everytime one of ours slips, it is a bad cable sticking and not letting the clutch completely come back up. Stick your toe under the pedal and make sure it's not stuck down a little. It's not the most fun thing to change that cable, but you better have it done. The transmission will indicate the wrong gear because it is simply a calculation between driveshaft speed and engine rpm. If you feather the clutch, you can make it say almost any gear below the one you're in. it will even say "creep" sometimes. |
