NW MN
Nathan had two versions of air reels pictured. One is a Crary air reel, yellow stripes. A complete unit meaning the reel has a blower on the side blowing through the tube with the reel rotating arond the tube with manifolds. The Lexion had an AWS, Advanced Wind System, manifold tube and blower. That unit is an add-on for any color flex head, it mounts in front of the reel.We have one of each for our short soybeans and short reel fingers on two machines. Short beans are hard to get everything when they pod so low. Some edible beans are knifed and windrowed then harvested. Some people accept a 2cwt/acre loss on some direct cut blacks.
