Callao Missouri | Looks to me like is should not be to hard to tell you can look at Jon's pictures and see this one has been breaking for a while. Notice the outer edge is worn smoth from the flexing, and pollished to a shine.
I would think that with the corn head on we should be able to shine a flash light on a mirror and see the resiblance of movement if there have a poblem. Jon
Edit. I checked CIH online parts and the part number is the same for the axle from the late 1480's all the way up threw the 1680's Including your 1660. Jon
