Chillicothe, Missouri | In some models, the head and rotor in the pump gave trouble, it would wear enough that the thin hot fuel could flow by, not creating enough head pressure to fire the injectors. but when the fuel was cold it built enough pressure to pop-of the injectors. we had to replace an injection pump on a '92 6.5 because of this. you should be able to tell by checking with an injection shop, they knew what the prob was just knowing what the numbers were on the pump. | |
