Subject: CaseIH-Always Use Large Wire Conc. for Soybeans?

Manitoba
Just wondering if you had 240 ac of soybeans to do would it be worth while switching to large wire concaves? I've done them other years with the small wire in but usually only 80 or 160 ac. Never really had any noticable rotor loss but I dont think we've really been pushing the combines capacity. Its a 1688. In the past I've only used a rigid header. This year I hope to rent a flex head if I can be patient enough to wait for that guy to finish his. If I'm not I may go behind the swather which can shave the ground. Even with that I cant see us going more than 4 mph on 30'. TIA
