per bale of hay, considering forecast prices not last years prices for fertilizer?
A lot depends on the protein content but in the $2.50/bale appears to be in the ball park.
Throw in $1 maybe $1.35/bale harvest cost, and another $0.75 to put the hay in the barn and soon hay is not as much fun as it used to be.
