Your 1st para. echo my thoughts exactly. I've felt that way for many years.
We share the numbers w/our family & landlords. Beyond that, it doesn't need to be publicized...I don't think. However, some feel that it helps to share w/the world. I'm not sure why though. Purely a personal matter here.
