Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND | My 4450 had worn out 6V batteries this spring and on advice from others on this site, I replaced the two series wired 6V with a single 12V in the left battery box. As they said it would, it cranks faster than the pair of 6 V batts, I guess owing to shorter cable run and less connections. Bought the largest CCA bat that would fit the box.
I don't use the tractor in winter, but has been great all spring / summer/ fall. |
