| I think you're right, but for a different reason than the recession.
Think about who the money men are with the old tractors. They are people who farmed, or who grew up farming and did something else, and now want to collect the tractors.
A lot of these "rare" restored tractors are not going anywhere and aren't getting worse or rarer now, but the population of people who wants to buy them is and will be shrinking. That's going to drive the value down, because people in my generation just don't have any will to go out and spend $100K on something that they have no connection to. | |
