Subject: Overum plow pulling sideways sometimes. Why?

Schomberg, Ontario, Canada
I am trying out a used overum four furrow auto reset plow. It only has the land wheel and no wheel in furrow. I have lighter ground, but when I get to some heavier ground, the plow will tend to pull sideways somewhat, leaving a valley between where I last plowed, and the round I am currently plowing. The plow does need to have new points, shares and landsides, but I was wondering is it the landsides that are causing the problem, or what am I doing wrong?? Thanks.
