Subject: RE: MF 9895 clean grain in return

southeast Washington
The air foil is the right thing to have in this combine just as it is in my 8780xp.I have not been in the field with a 9895 but have talked to guys that have.At first they had nothing but trouble and than some one from Agco came out and got the machine to perform very well. The rotor is bigger around and needs to run slower than the 8780,9690,9790 or about 600 to 700 rpms. The rotor gear box I think was in the middle speed and I think they had two or three blanks on the concave.I would get the threshing set right first and than I would leave the air alone and OPEN the sieve. When things are right on my 8780xp the air is 750 to max and the sieve is 3/4 to 1 inch wide.Let us know what works so we will all learn. My conditions here in the northwest are very dry so it might be a lot different. good luck
