Jewell County KS | I have a set of Haukass sidearm markers on my air drill and am having a heck of a time with the counterbalance springs.
The springs keep popping the eyes off. This is with the markers in the folded position as well as when in use. I rarely use the markers and have had 90% of the springs break while not using them in the relaxed state. I've went as far as to order new springs from Haukass and have had them break before I've even unfolded the thing.
I have them adjusted to spec. according to the book......I am now convinced they must have a glut of bad springs !!!!!!
I could really care less about using the markers but when both springs bust the marker flops over the side and causes a mess.
Anybody else suffer from this and is there a cure.....maybe a different supplier of the springs.
