| That rec. sounds like it is based soley on being "environmentally responsible" and I dought crop production needs or general farm economics were seriously considered. I wouldn't expect any university to say anything to the contrary. I want to know where the proof is that excess P has actually caused a problem. And, don't use Pfiesteria as an example. That's a bunch of bullcrap which is an entire subject in and of itself.
