I've used both magnets and mounting plates. We actually have three cameras on this years cart. The one one the back we used a magnet. The one on the end of auger ( for filling trucks) made a mounting plate. The third is on top of the auger for filling the cart and you can also see the combine. For this also made a bracket. Magnets work great if you have flat and enough surface.
