I guess I should word it differently, the 8970 uses less fuel for the amount of work it does because it has a very efficient engine and has more lugging power.
The 4850 is MFWD @ around 240 hp. So it is well above factory specs.
We would mainly be pulling this on big hills full of rocks and other goodies.
How much tractor for JD 40' 1990 CCS?
