Be Careful of Plot Results - Let's post field averages

If we want to compare hybrids, we measure a solid 8 rows for a 1/2 mile. This tells the story. Simply keep track of where you switched varieties, combine a few rounds to get rid of the mix, and weigh again. We have always found this to be far more accurate than going for 300 feet in a test plot.

If you read my initial post carefully, I did not say to never look at plot data for hybrid comparison. I said to not "post" yields that are only from plots. Everyone knows plots typically outperfom field averages.
