| Mark, we have cut about 80 acres of beans so far. So far they have been better than expected. Was hoping to make 50 but was expecting more like something in the mid 40s but these are running low to mid 60s. 2.9 maturity planted ist week of May I believe. I'm really surprised at how good they are as there is some water damage in the field , mainly where stalks washed in covering them up.
I doubt if all our beans will be as good. Had to replant at least 250 ac. Don't look like they have grown in the last month & not pod nearly as well.
Saw a combine cutting over on Hwy 32 last week. So much dust I couldn't tell what make it was & was less than 500' away
