We foliar feed our fescue for seed production. What product(s) did you use?

Like anything, there are variations, but foliar fertilizer is really just like any chemical. If the plant is water stressed, it cant utilize the fertilizer. IMO. So IMO the length of time the fert will be there depends on the plants ability to use it. We also use a growth regulator, which is of no interest to you in the hay market, but it too requires that the plant has enough water to be usefull.

Here's a copy/paste from the linked article. Maybe someone can shed some light on the credibility of it, but it makes a lot of sense to me as it pretty much follows what I've seen in our grass for seed.
