west central illinois | I am replacing the augers and tubes on my 1660. I decided to get the parts from A&I, so I started the order on there web site and 2 of the tubes and the elbow are back ordered. Plan B Try Sloan Express same thing. Plan C try Case IH have the elbow $300.00 higher and missing a tube. I ask to see if the warehouse has them. None in stock but may get them next week. A dealer 85 miles away does have what my dealer doesn't. A&I and Sloan are using Lowen elbows. The district rep for A&I told me that the are made in China and have been having problems with them fitting.
I hope this is not a sign of things to come this harvest season. | |
