Subject: Deere 90 series corn head losses

Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums.
I am getting too much corn on the ground with the 894 head. Corn is running 20%. What would you do first? Slow down rolls? Close the plates a little or what? One neighbor told me to slow it down, other said run it wide open fast as it will go. Some say the plates are too close and others say I should run them open a little more. What do you guys usually do?
