SW MN | I got the old truck pulled home, cleaned and top plate remove to find things very stiff inside. 2 cans of carb cleaner and it is loose again.
Now that I have everything clean I'd like to turn up the fuel, which little cap on top of pump do I take off? and turn screw out 1/2 turn?
I opened both caps, front one has some type of spring loaded switch, rear cap small long bolt with slot ontop and lock nut on bottom. I turned that one out 1/2 turn.

Looking over the whole fuel thing my problems might have started because I used the gasoline fuel tank as the diesel tank when I comverted it to the Cat 3208. I changed the filter and inside the fitting is orange looking stuff(maybe varnish/ rust from old gas tank?) rubs off with rag.
